Review
Summary |
Companies more and more it seems, believe that by simply mentioning a particular condition such as hypothyroidism, it can sell a product alone. Alvidar is one of many products on the market that does not disclose all of its actual ingredients. In this day and age, a company who hides it’s ingredients behind the term “a proprietary blend” is not acceptable.
We've checked the US Government's Trademark office & it seems that Alvidar is not a Trademarked term, however, they conveniently write the ™ symbol next to the product name in order to make it look more legitimate.

 | Ingredients At A Glance |
|
Alvidar is however, advertised as containing ingredients which provide your body with vitamins, nutrients, and minerals that help promote positive thyroid function. We were unable to determine if the product contained the patented thermal agent Advantra-Z or the popular appetite suppressant Hoodia. The product seems somewhat limited in scope.

 | Ingredients In Focus |
|
Again, the website does not disclose all of the products specific ingredients. We find it absolutely necessary for allergen agreeability. This product is most likely intended for those who have tried every other diet approach on the market. The product does not endorse a particular exercise program.
|
 | Positives |
|
• Seems to be designed to be used in combination with diet and exercise in an attempt to counter hypothyroidism
• Dieters report weight loss and the product has a few testimonies
• Claims to provide your body with natural iodine
|
 | Negatives |
• It seems this product has not been well received by many consumers, as a number of them are voicing their concerns on consumer blogs and forums. Interested consumers can click here to read more about these issues in this Alvidar blog.
• Positive Thyroid function alone is no guarantee of sustained weight loss; only substantial lifestyle changes long-term make a difference.
• May not contain the appetite suppressant Hoodia
• Scarcity of studies on all potential active ingredients
• Is extremely expensive
• Not truly substitute for a continued integrated diet and weight loss regimen
|
 | Final Thoughts |
|
We find this lack of published ingredients; make it clearly not in the same league as other serious products on the market. A modern formulation must contain active ingredients that are consistent and effective. Again – it is important to take ONLY quality ingredients that are effective and published.

The abdominal toning Flex Belt® is truly an awesome advance in technology. This device is by far the most effective we have ever seen of its kind. The results are astonishing – The Flex Belt is proven to work for everyone. In fact – in a clinical trial done with The Flex Belt, 100% of the participants received results in flattening, toning, and strengthening their stomach. The Flex Belt is not a gimmick – it is 100% medical science. It is the first EMS (Electric Muscle Stimulation) product of its kind cleared by the FDA as a class II medical device for direct to consumer sales. The Flex Belt literally flexes your stomach muscles for you so they get a very concentrated work out. It makes it so that anyone can exercise their abs anywhere and anytime and it does all the work for you. You can use it at work, around the house, while taking a walk, while exercising, watching TV etc. For consumers who don’t have the time to exercise or for those that may have tried to flatten and tone their stomachs through traditional exercise, this product is precisely what they’ve been looking for. It is also great for people that are in awesome shape and already have a great stomach – it will simply make it more strong and defined.
