CortiBan Ultra, is described as, “a natural product designed to lower your body's production of the stress-induced hormone Cortisol, and to assist in your body's reaction to stress and boost your overall metabolism.” We were unable to locate any specific Cortisol or stress reducing ingredients at the website. However, CortiBan Ultra’s concept is an interesting one, though many of the ingredients are commonly found in current products. We take a more in depth look at the active components of this weight loss remedy.

CortiBan Ultra contains – Hoodia Gordonii Powder, Vanadium, Calcium, Vitamin B Complex, Green Tea Extract and other ingredients.
* Hoodia Gordonii Powder - is the latest breakthrough in appetite suppressants, and was mentioned on the program 60 Minutes. Hoodia contains a compound called ‘P57’, which is a molecule that makes you feel full. In clinical trials, two test groups were given equal diets and placed in a setting where they were to remain sedentary. One group was given Hoodia and the other, a placebo. The hoodia group consumed on average 1000 calories a day less than the placebo group.
* Vanadium - is a mineral found naturally in the body that helps to balance blood sugar levels.
* Calcium – is the most basic of mineral salts that in the body is know to strengthen bones.
* Vitamin B Complex – are a group of vitamins that play an important role in the breakdown and use of energy sources, production of red blood cells and antibodies, and normal functioning of the nervous system.

This formulation is decidedly effective for those interested in a stimulant based approach. CortiBan Ultra also includes the wildly popular appetite suppressant Hoodia. We do like that the product contains Hoodia, but caffeine based fat burners, in and of themselves, do not provide for the most tolerable of formulations.

As mentioned, CortiBan Ultra contains Green Tea Extract. This extract contains caffeine and is not recommended for people taking aspirin or blood thinning medications. It is advised that some users should consult their doctor before increasing additional caffeine intake, because caffeine may interfere with blood clotting. Be advised that an excessive amount of caffeine is also known to cause restlessness and/or insomnia. More studies are still needed to determine if caffeine is truly beneficial for weight loss.

CortiBan Ultra is a fine product. We like that it contains Hoodia, but the focus here is on a formula that is supposed to lower Coritsol levels. Unfortunately, as advertised, the ingredients as mentioned do not appear to be able to regulate Cortisol. CortiBan Ultra instead, represents a caffiene based approach making it a product best suited for those in need of suppressing appetite and barring the warnings, having an energy boost, making this one of the most unique products we have reviewed.
