Excalia contains - zonisamide SR and bupropion SR.

Excalia is currently undergoing clinical trails so it is not available at the present time. It is believed to be able to provide users with rapid weight loss. For instance, it helped those in the initial clinical trials lose %12 of their body fat. The active ingredients in this formula are zonisamide SR and bupropion SR; two elements which were not originally slatted for weight loss, however, Dr. Kishore Gadde of Duke University discovered the combinations potential weight loss abilities. Zonisamide SR, was originally used to treat seizure disorders; although how it achieves this affect is still not known. It was in these clinical trials that its ability to help augment weight loss was noticed.

The name bupropion SR may not be well known, however, this drug goes by other names that are more recognizable, such as Wellbutrin and Zyban; two antidepressants which a have been used to help individuals stop smoking. This drug was shown to help those who were both depressed and obese lose weight. This manufacturer hopes by combining these two drugs that the resulting medication will affectively address obesity from multiple avenues.

Obviously, pharmaceutical drugs have a place in treating weight loss, especially when individuals are suffering from chronic obesity that requires medical intervention and supervision. It is clear from all the data available that Excalia may eventually be proven to be able to help treat obesity.
