Summary |
In a market full of choices, we cannot recommend Zantrex-3 as the superior choice.
Zantrex-3, as many products on the market, has been featured on a few paid late night infomercials. It’s easy to believe, that this sort of exposure may convey a certain sense of legitimacy to the product, for some readers. The Zantrex-3 product and website, however, removes any of that credibility as the products active ingredients are caffeine based.

Zantrex-3 contains - Yerba mate, Panax Ginseng, Caffeine, Green Tea, Kola Nut Extract and additional ingredients clearly listed at the website.
*Yerba mate - this strong central nervous system stimulant, is often sold as a dietary supplement.
*Panax Ginseng - This species is native to China and has been an important herbal remedy in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years.
The majority of published research has focused on ginsenosides, Ginseng’s active agent. This key ingredient positively alters blood flow to the brain and penis. Ginseng has no known side effects.
*Caffeine - is a basic stimulant. An excessive amount of caffeine is known to cause restlessness and/or insomnia. People taking aspirin or blood thinning medications should consult their doctor before increasing additional caffeine intake, because caffeine may interfere with blood clotting. More studies are still needed to determine if caffeine is truly beneficial for weight loss.
*Kola Nut Extract (Caffeine) - is popular in the tropics as a caffeine-containing stimulant. Kola-nut extract has been known not only to cause jitteriness, but overt nervousness and with extend usage toxicity.

*Green Tea (caffeine) – some studies have established that drinking tea may deliver some health benefits. Tea has received a great deal of attention because tea polyphenols are strong antioxidants, and tea preparations have inhibitory activity against tumorigenesis. Whats not disputed are the anti-inflammatory properties of tea (black, green, and white. All of that is very good for skin, but whether it has any effect on weight loss is still speculation.

However, we tried calling the provided number for the retailer, and were put on hold for over 7 minutes.
We were curious if the company had any testimonials as we did not find any posted at their website.
We were unable to contact a representative as to how long the product had been on the market.

Zantrex-3 does not contain the proven and patented metabolism-boosting ingredient Advantra-Z®. Zantrex-3, as mentioned, instead relies on common caffeine to aid in weight loss. This discount store product also does not contain Hoodia, the most exciting and accepted appetite suppressant available. Without these active ingredients, we do not find Zantrex-3 to be nearly as effective as products that contain patented ingredients.
If you wanted to try Zantrex-3, they do not offer a free trial. In the end, we find it surprising, that Zantrex-3 doesn’t post a history of testimonials for a product as popular as it is.
